Punters have been left stunned after a dramatic finish to a UK jumps race saw three separate horses that were traded at $1.01 in running beaten.
Northern Girl ($5.50) looked to have the fifth race at Wetherby sewn up before falling at the last jump and spectacularly taking down her nearest opponent in Dulce Panem ($8.50).
The fall left Along Came Theo ($3.25) 6 lengths in front of his closest rival Pookie Pekan ($12).
With no hurdles left to jump Along Came Theo looked home before dramatically slowing to a crawl in the final stages to leave the fast finishing Pookie Pekan to claim victory.
Incredibly, Pookie Pekan reached $1000 in-running before running out the eventual winner.
All jockeys and horses are reported to have escaped injury following the incredible finish.
