Punters have cracked it over the decision to declare All Victorian Sprint Series Final winner Malibu Style a runner despite his barrier opening early.
Malibu Style lunged at the gates prior to the start of the race which saw his gate open early with punters using social media to vent their frustration as the heavily backed Milwaukee ran second.
Malibu Style’s gate opened early although stewards determined that despite Malibu Style knocking his barrier open fractionally earlier than his rivals, the horse stepped slow and gained no unfair advantage.
