The races at Trentham have made the news on numerous occasions today and that has continued into the last race.
The headlines out of the feature NZ meeting have been good and bad with Champion mare Melody Belle equaling Sunlight’s Group One record after she took out the Thorndon Mile prior to the bad when an idiot spectator put himself and all jockeys and horses in danger when he ran onto the racecourse.
However the meeting has ended with another headline and this time it was neither good nor bad but just weird when the camera turned to a naked man running away from the racecourse.
We haven’t been able to figure out the story behind why he was naked but it has definitely capped off an action packed day over the ditch.
