Oh, this will make all racing fans smile.
A lad in the United States, named Liam Benson, is as happy as a pig in mud right now because, what was once his, was lost but has now been found.
The story in his words: “years ago, my uncle gave me the book “Bart” the autobiography of Australian trainer, JB Cummings.
“My mother lent it out to someone probably 7 or 8 years ago and it was forgotten all about.”
A bit sad for a young fella starting his journey in the world of thoroughbreds.
He loved that book a great deal and told a friend about it, so he wanted to lend it to his mate. This made him go to Amazon the other day and found some used copies for sale on their site.
“So I bought a used copy off Amazon,” he continued.
“And have a look what was on the second page.”
Liam, now a stallion nominations manager at the great Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky was in Florida when the book went missing years ago.
“I can’t repeat what I said when I saw my name in it.
“My Mom can’t remember who she lent to all those years ago, but I messaged the seller on Amazon to see what the story is and it makes sense as the book was found in a bookstore in North Carolina.
“It’s wild stuff, man. Wild.”
See, good things do happen to good people.
