Following the announcement that Golden Rose runner-up Yes Yes Yes will run in the TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on October 19 for his trainer, Chris Waller, the three-year-old colt has shortened from $13 to $11 at TAB.
Yes Yes Yes has run second at both of his starts this preparation with the runner-up finish to Bivouac in the Golden Rose at Rosehill on September 28 preceded by his second to Bivouac in the Run To The Rose at Rosehill a fortnight earlier.
This news comes 24 hours after another Chris Waller-trained sprinter, Nature Strip, was selected by James Harron as his representative for the world’s richest race on turf.
10 of the 12 slots for Saturday week’s Everest have been filled with Godolphin yet to confirm their runner, while the winner of Saturday’s Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield is assured of a berth via the Melbourne Racing Club.
TAB’s representative, five-time Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane, is currently the $4.60 favourite at TAB ahead of Pierata ($5) and Arcadia Queen ($6).
Redzel has won the first two editions of the TAB Everest and is presently a $9 chance.
