Champion mare Winx has given punters a fright in a couple of runs, but the freakish mare is set to blow them away in Saturday’s Turnbull Stakes.
Winx has won her last three Sydney starts by a combined total of 2.5 lengths, but sportsbet is tipping the mighty mare to better that in the Flemington Group 1.
The online bookmaker has Winx at $1.60 to win the Turnbull Stakes by two or more lengths, $3.00 for the margin to be less than two lengths and heaven forbid $5.00 not to win.
Jockey Hugh Bowman, who has ridden the mare in 17 consecutive wins, is $1.33 not to give his familiar ‘she’s apples’ salute before the mare crosses the line and $3.30 to use the salute.
Winx is $1.18 to win the race and $9.00 to break the track record.
