In a wide open edition of the Launceston Cup (2400m), punters are pretty confident that Berisha, now with John Sadler, can get the job done.
The horse was formerly with Robert Smerdon but due to the Aquanita saga, is now with Sadler. He bounced back to form last time out with a closing second in the Colac Cup and the rise to 2400m with weight relief, should see him hard to beat. He opened $8 and has been well supported, now into $4.80.
The Hobart Cup runner up Andrea Mantegna just holds the call at $4.40, rock solid there too, over his victor Pretty Punk at $5, out from $4.80. Next best is Bondeiger at $7.50.
The early notable drifter has been Eastender, who is $9.00 out from $7.
