4. Konasana: Konasana is three weeks between runs since finishing down the track behind Know Thyself at Randwick. She got off speed and was never a factor in a pretty plain effort. Tick-over trial was pretty good, watch betting.

6. Gallant Star: Such an honest bugger that will give his all, but 1400m sees him right out, so for mine, at the mile, he’s going to struggle.
7. Mare Of Mt Buller: Won a nothing race at Randwick and this looks a bridge too far, especially from the gate.
8. Townsend: Three trials under the belt to get her ready for the return so the intent is there and maps to either lead or stalk the speed. Can be a first four threat.
9. Victory Win: He was solid enough in the Members Mile but can’t see him turning the tables.
10. Collect Your Cash: Sat on speed at Randwick and tried hard but had no answers late for Mare Of Mt Buller. Good racing style but he lacks the class.
11. Fortune: Back in trip, he’s going okay but not sure he is sharp enough for these.
12. Sun God: A win wouldn’t shock, but gee I thought he was average at Randwick last time and will need a 12/10 steer from Jones.
13. Chica Mojito: I think she wins the Belle Of The Turf if she got clear air earlier. Think she’s flying, maps well, no weight… a knockout hope.
14. Pippie Beach: She’s flying this girl. Great in defeat in the Belle Of The Turf but has too much to do here.
