TAB customers in New South Wales can once again secure their ticket for a chance to be a part of the world’s richest country race, the $1.3 million The Kosciuszko; with ticket sales opening today and running until September 7th.
The Kosciuszko, now in its third year, is a hugely popular concept among TAB customers who are given a chance to own a share in one of the 14 horses competing in the race.
Punters get the chance to own a share in one of the horses in The Kosciuszko simply by purchasing a $5 ticket via the TAB App or your local TAB outlet, pub, club or racetrack. You can enter as many times as you like by purchasing multiple tickets.
“Purchasing a ticket for the Kosciuszko is like a sweepstakes system – the more tickets you buy, the greater chances of winning,” TAB’s Adam Hamilton said.
Last year’s winner Handle The Truth ($8) is currently listed as third favourite, behind the Matt Dunn-trained Snitz who has already shortened to $4.50 (in from $6) and Front Page at $6.
The Kosciuszko is run over 1200 metres on Everest Day at Randwick on October 17.
