Group One winners feature heavily at the top of betting in TAB’s Golden Eagle market which opens this morning.
Rosehill Guineas winner Mo’unga heads the market at $8 for trainer Annabel Neasham while Chris Waller’s Vinery and ATC Oaks winner Hungry Heart is next at $11. Sharing the second line of favouritism is Queenslander Rothfire for Robert Heathcote.
One of the interesting runners in the market is another galloper from the Sunshine State – Orbisyn. The son of Rich Enuff has won all four career starts, the latest of those on Wednesday, and is rated a $26 chance to capture the Golden Eagle.
Meanwhile, unbeaten mare It’s Me is favourite to claim her second successive Kosciuszko with TAB opening her up at $4.50.
The Brett Cavanough-trained four-year-old has won all four career starts and was a hot favourite in last year’s Kossie, narrowly defeating Redouble and Man Of Peace.
Country Championships winner Art Cadeau is on the second line of betting at $6. Front Page and Ice In Vancouver are the only other runners in single figures at $8 respectively with the latter stepping out at Rosehill on Saturday.
