Sydney raider Private Eye is the heavily backed favourite with betting companies to take out the PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Caulfield.
The Joe Pride trained gelding was down to resume last Saturday in the Missile Stakes but with the wet track and weather in Sydney, Pride has sent him to Melbourne for a dry track. He oepned favourite at $3.60 and has since been crunched in betting and now sits at $2.80.
Evaporate, a class four year old that resumes, is at $4 on the second line of betting, with stablemate Here To Shock at $6.50 who has had some good specking at the each way odds.
