Private Eye has opened as favourite in the Champions Mile
The very much in form Private Eye is favourite with ladbrokes.com.au for the Champions Mile (1600m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The Joe Pride trained gelding has been a revelation this time in and was outstanding when winning the Nature Strip last Saturday at 1300m. He is a clear favourite, sitting at $3.10.
My Oberon, a sharp Australian debut winner in the Crystal Mile, is on the second line of betting at $4.20, clear of Cascadian at $5.50.
Toorak winner Tuvalu is rock solid at $12.
