Queensland’s leading trainer Tony Gollan has given a strong push for a runner of his in the G1 Stradbroke Handicap at massive odds.
Trainer Tony Gollan spoke on RSN this morning where he gave a run down of his horses in Saturday’s G1 Stradbroke Handicap and he was bullish on the chances of Outback Barbie who is currently a $31 chance with bookmaker Sportsbet has had good each way backing after opening at $41.
Outback Barbie has ran well in her two starts this preparation with a third in the BRC Sprint before a gallant fourth in the Victory Stakes where she was heavily backed on both occassions.
The ever consistent mare has drawn well and should get a good run throughout and with just 51.5kg on her back Gollan feels she “massively over the odds” in the market.
