Star WA mare heavily backed in the Let’s Elope Stakes

Star WA mare Kissonallforcheeks is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Let’s Elope (1400m) this afternoon at Flemington.

The Dan Morton trained mare was very good fresh two weeks ago in the Cockram at Caulfield and looks very well set up for this afternoon, with the only real query being the wide gate. She heads the market at $3.70.

Flying Mascot also comes through the Cockram and looks well suited up to 1400m. She’s at $5 on the second line of betting, clear of I Am Bene, who opened $6, which was way too short, and is now at $8.50, likely to start double figures.
