Star filly Amelia’s Jewel holds the call with Ladbrokes.com.au for the inaugural edition of The Quokka (1200m) this afternoon at Ascot.
The $4 Million slot race has attracted a high quality field, headlined by the local star, who was a dominant winner of the Roma Cup two weeks ago. Despite drawing wide, she is favourite at $2.90.
Gutsy mare Bella Nipotina is on the second line of betting at $4, clear of Uncommon James at $6.50. They are the lone runners at single figures, with next best being Asfoora at $12.
