Star colt Jacquinot short odds in the Australian Guineas

It’s all one way traffic with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Flemington this Saturday, the Australian Guineas (1600m).

The star colt in the field is clearly Jacquinot and the punters think the multiple Group l winner will gap them. $3.10 was the opening price and has been crunched, now into $2.25.

Eliptical, the CS Hayes winner, is on the second line of betting at $6.50, clear of Attrition at $8.50. They are the lone runners at single figures, with star Kiwi filly Legarto being the early drifter, out to $13 from $9.
