Punters have stepped into star mare Viddora at double figure odds to take out her second major when she contests the Goodwood (1200m) this Saturday at Morphettville.
The Lloyd Kennewell trained mare was at the top of betting for the Robert Sangster a fortnight back but was a scratching on race morning due to swelling in her hind leg. She is fresh coming into this and is quite popular with the punters, backing her into $7.50 after opening $10.
She has clearly been the best backed and sits on the second line of betting behind star sprinter and defending champion Vega Magic, who is a very solid $2.80 favourite after opening $2.70.
The horse that is rock solid is the resuming Voodoo Lad, who is an $11 chance.
