Serious go for Doncaster Mile long shot

Punters have come for a runner at big odds in Saturday’s Group One Doncaster Mile at Randwick.

The Chris Waller trained I Am Serious has attracted good support in the feature at Randwick on Saturday despite failing badly on a heavy track in the Coolmore Classic last time out when beaten nine lengths however her run before that in the Millie Fox was very good.

The daughter of Choisir has had two starts over the mile for two wins and has drawn the inside barrier and should be able to get into the box seat behind the leaders and get a relatively easy run throughout.

As mentioned there looks a few positives for her and punters are on, backing her from $34 into her current quote of $18 after touching $15.

Brutal has been backed into favouritism for the race with opening favourite Alizee continuing to drift to $8 from her original quote of $6.
