1. Pinstriped: I could back him early because the weather forecast says this track will be a bog and as he gets older, I think he is wanting a track with genuine give. He’s right in the mix.
2. Freedom Rally: Another that loves getting his toe in and the recent jumpout was very good. With the rain, he’s a knockout hope.
3. Enxuto: Think he’s flying but if we get a bog, I think he’s a risk.
4. Doctor Askar: Just a run in the Seymour Cup and needs more time/ground.
5. Ten Commandments: Been up longer than Ron Jeremy but is holding his form pretty well I find and with rain about, clearly commands respect.
6. Aztec Ruler: Think he’s sneaky going well, but reckon he needs it a fraction easier and the gate makes things tricky.
7. Charterhouse: This is one I am specking. Total forgive/forget run fresh at Caulfield but a recent jumpout was strong, he won’t mind getting his toe in and this is a winnable race.
8. El Rocko: Very dangerous if he gets front end control but just think he might need another run or two before finding his best.
9. Makdane: Like him back to the mile and getting his toe in…just think he may need the paddock.
10. Bon Mistress: Reckon she’s flying for something at 2000m. Prefer to watch her here.
11. Haaricane: Super win at Ballarat last time but staying at the mile is the knock.
12. All Business: Think she’s going well but needs it easier.
