Punters are unanimous in their support for Winx to win Saturday’s Colgate Optic White Stakes at Royal Randwick.
The superstar mare has had 99 per cent of the single bets with TAB to win the 1600 metre race.
“While she drifted on raceday first up in the Winx Stakes over 1400, that may not happen now the champ gets out to a mile,” TAB’s Gerard Middleton said.
“Winx has jumped $1.12 and $1.08 in the past two editions of this race, and as always, we’re expecting the big punters to step in and take the short odds.”
If a punter placed a $10 bet on Winx when she won the Sunshine Coast Guineas in May 2015 and then rolled it over in her 26 victories since, they would now have $365,161.65.
