Smart sprinter Fell Swoop is the best backed runner in Saturday’s BTC Cup at Doomben.
Twice the bridesmaid at elite level, the Canberra sprinter is $4.40 with sportsbet.com.au. He is also the best backed runner with the online bookmaker.
The Chris Waller trained Japonisme is second favourite at $5.50. Outsiders Dothraki and Sacred Star, both $26, also have admirers.
“Fell Swoop is knocking on the door for a Group 1 win. The four-year-old was an impressive winner in his first Brisbane start and he’s the popular pick with punters, holding just over 50 percent of money,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
