Ladbrokes.com.au punters only want one horse in the feature race this afternoon at Caulfield, the Caulfield Cup (2400m).
The Turnbull winner Smokin Romans seemingly looks so well in given he’s a last start Group l winner but only has 51.5kg on his back, he’s suited at 2400m and gets Jamie Kah. Opened $4.60 and has been backed with confidence, into $3.60.
The only other runner at single figures is Knights Order, the likely leader who swims. Opened $14 and has been well supported, sitting now at $8.50.
A couple that are rock solid are Numerian at $13 and Benaud at $10.
