A horse that opened at odds of $31 has been heavily backed to win the Wodonga Cup since markets opened on Thursday and is now into $5.50.
The Craig Widdison trained Wyangle opened at $31 at Sportsbet on Thursday morning and has been heavily supported ever since with the 6YO gelding now at $5.50 third favouritism in the market.
Wyangle is coming off a pretty poor run at Sandown where he was beaten close to 5Lengths at big odds but the drop in weight may see an improvement and punters think so as well.
Heavenly Emperor holds favouritism at $2.90 for the Wodonga Cup ahead of Starouz at $3.30.
