Handy stayer Zoumon is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the feature race at Rosehill this afternoon, the McKell Cup (2000m).
The GaiBott trained four year old was brave in defeat at the track two weeks ago when second to Mach Schnell and with the lead there for the taking with Tim Clark aboard, he’s clearly popular and punters agree, backing him into $2.40 after opening $4.20.
Bold Mac is on the second line of betting at $4.40, clear of Lord Mayors Cup winner Bois D’Argent at $5. Lord Ardmore has had specking, now at $8.50 from a high of $9 and a bottom of $7.50.
