Punters look for value in the Villiers Stakes

Stockman has been specked at odds in the Villiers Stakes

Sportsbet.com.au punters are casting the net far and wide when it comes to the feature at Randwick this afternoon, the Villiers Stakes (1600m).

The favourite, and clearly best backed, is Steely, who now sits at $3.80 after opening $4.60. He clearly holds the call over stablemate Ellsberg, who is $5 after opening $5.50 and touching $4.60.

There has been specking for a number of runners at odds, including Stockman ($11–$8.50–$9.50), Criaderas ($17–$13), Brutality ($9.50–$8) and Grove Ferry ($34–$26).
