With double figure winners featuring in three of the four Quaddie legs from Eagle Farm today, mammoth dividends for the exotic bet type were declared across the NSW and Victorian TABs.
While the triple figure dividends across both States suggested that it would’ve been tough going for anyone to snare a slice of the dividend, a number of TAB customers were on cloud nine after roughie Love You Lucy took out the final event – the Dane Ripper Stakes.
One customer in NSW picked up a tick over $46,000 after snaring 20% of the Quaddie another in Victoria collected just over $47,000 (see below).
In Good Time blew most tickets out of the water by winning at a price of over $60 on both totes while Vanna Girl’s win in the following event was no surprise considering she started an even money favourite. Gaulois got up in the third leg of the Quaddie at a price between $10-$11 but Love You Lucy’s victory at a price of $40+ in the Dane Ripper which completed the dream result.
In NSW, the Quaddie was a monster – $230,865 – with one customer snaring 20% of the dividend off a spend of $150 while in Victoria, another punter outlaid just $50 for 34.72%. What was impressive for both winning tickets was the fact neither customer went ‘Field’ in the first or last legs of the Quaddie.
