A beautifully bred filly, off a last start win, has been one of the better backed runners in betting for the richest juvenile race in the world, the 2020 Golden Slipper (1200m).
The Chris Waller trained Frankel filly Hungry Heart got her way into the Golden Slipper after impressively winning the Sweet Embrace and a fast run 1200m looks ideal for her. She opened $21 Final Field and has firmed with every call, now into $13.
Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa was the favourite to complete the double and join a list of star juveniles in winning both races. He’s held reasonably firm at $5.50 whilst the early move has been for Farnan, who is the new favourite at $4.50.
Another runner at longer odds who has had solid support is Victorian filly Minhaaj who has been backed from $15 into $9.00 after securing a start in the race.
