Despite drawing the carpark, Sportsbet.com.au punters have latched onto a Victorian based sprinter to take out the Ray White Ipswich Dash (1100m) this Saturday at Ipswich.
Irish Constabulary, the sparingly raced seven year old, has been in super form for John Symons & Sheila Laxon, with the gelding scoring a dominant win last time out at Doomben, so it’s no surprise to see firm to $5.50 after opening $6.50.
He is now equal favourite alongside Upstart Pride, who opened $5.00, I Am Boss ($21-$18) and Sarisara ($26-$21) have both been specked at longer odds.
