A first up runner for the flying Team Hawkes yard has been the subject of good support with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the final race at Scone this Saturday, the Ortensia Stakes (1100m).
Kaepernick, who resumes here off the back of some impressive efforts at the trials, opened $8 to win here. He got down to $6 but now sits at $6.50.
Furnaces is the $3.80 favourite after opening $3.50, while in terms of value, Slots ($41-$26) and Got The Goss ($34-$26) have had their admirers.
