Happy Clapper has been smashed in early Epsom betting
Punters appear to have made their mind up early when it comes to the Epsom Handicap (1600m) at Randwick this Saturday with the top-weight best backed in the field of 14.
Happy Clapper is the $3.00 favourite for the Group 1 feature, having been backed in from his opening quote of $3.60 when the field was released on Tuesday morning.
Punters have been hesitant to back Egg Tart, who still has to pass a veterinary inspection, with her odds drifting from $5.00 out to $6.50.
Tom Melbourne has frustrated punters in the past but that hasn’t stopped the money rolling in for the 7-year-old who is $7.50, in from $9.00.
There has also been a nibble for Snitzson at odds ($61 – $41) and He’s Our Rokkii ($17 – $16).
