Brazen Beau has been in a see-sawing battle with Muhaarar for favouritism.
Despite the colt drawing barrier 15, online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has both runners as $3.75 equal favourite for the Newmarket Group 1.
One Aussie punter has wagered $1000 at $4.00 on Brazen Beau and there are plenty of smaller bets from patriotic punters.
“The barrier beat Brazen Beau when he finished second at Ascot last start, but that run would have tightened him up. He goes into the race fitter and with luck should retire to stud a winner,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
