2. Antique Miss: She should have won the Bunbury Cup but unfortunately got stuck three wide for a fair chunk of the race, only to be bloused near the peg. Maps to get a much better run in transit. Just depends what petrol is left in the tank.

3. Captain Pluto: He got the beaut run in transit in the Bunbury Cup and the run in transit was the difference between winning and losing. Tricky map to contend with but hard to knock the way he’s racing.

4. Blazing Away: Followed them around in the Bunbury Cup and suspect that will eventuate here.

5. Demolish: Was ridden with intent in the Bunbury Cup and ran a much improved race in defeat, sticking to the task quite gamely in defeat. Maps ideally from the good draw and is the each way gamble.

6. Red Sun Sensation: Got wide with cover in the Bunbury Cup and just battled late in the piece. I can’t entertain him.

7. Sensessional: Took on the big boys in the Bunbury Cup and was the eye catcher from the back, working home with real purpose late in the piece. Off that, 2300m is fine and is one of the leading contenders.

8. Fat Roy Slim: Just a run in the Bunbury Cup and he needs to do more.

9. Fear The Wind: Did early work in the run in the Bunbury Cup and that early burn just told late. Not for me.

10. Flower In The Wind: Got too far back in the Bunbury Cup but was okay late without threatening. One at a big price that could pinch a first four spot.

11. Magic Whistle: Attempted to lead throughout in the Bunbury Cup and weakened late. He can’t lead throughout and beat these.
