Over The Odds – Saturday’s Horse Racing 10/9/2022

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Rosehill Race One Number 1 Jalmari ($8.00):

I like Jalmari here in the Highway. He ran in the Highway last Saturday at Randwick and he was very good, the run of the race IMO given he was wide against the bias and had no chance, but found the line very nicely behind Opal Ridge. 3kg claim for McLucas, he maps okay and is an each way bet for sure.

Rosehill Race Six Number 9 Flag Of Honour ($16):

Flag Of Honour is a youngster I have time for and I know Kris Lees has a good opinion of him. Class got him home on debut at Newcastle before going to Rosehill where he sat off the speed but came with a well timed run under Bowman to nab Alberich late, a horse with good talent. Kept on ice for the Spring, he creates interest.

Morphettville Parks Race Two Number 6 Deevine ($8.00):

Looks to be good speed here so want to be on something strong late and Deevine fits that criteria. This mare ran over 1250m here two weeks ago where she drew wide, covered ground and was never a factor in a total forgive. Likes the short course, she’ll be strong late provided the inside gate isn’t a negative.

Doomben Race Two Number 5 Corncrake ($9.50):

Corncrake may want one more but I reckon he’s knocking on the door to win one and this looks a lovely race. Just needed the run fresh behind Raging Bull before a good effort behind Born A King two weeks back. When he was up and running a couple of years ago, he was beating up subsequent Stakes winners, so he’s right in the mix.
