Over The Odds 6/5/2023 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Morphettville Race Six Number 6 Dynasties ($18):

Dynasties is flying for Team Snowden and with normal luck, I think she’ll be around the mark for sure. She ran in the Hawkesbury Cup and despite running 11/14, beaten six lengths, she should have been right in the finish. Had no luck in the straight and pretty much went around like a barrier trial. That was her first run in a month so she has good room for improvement and has the quality.

Morphettville Race Eight Number 8 Seven Veils ($12):

Seven Veils is clearly on top for me. She’s back and back in a big way IMO. Formerly with Mark Newnham, she had her first run for the Maher/Eustace camp two weeks ago in the Redelva where she made a sustained run with the big weight and found the line with real purpose to run second to I’mlovinya. Can settle much closer in the run and fitter, up to 1200m, keen on her.

Sunshine Coast Race Six Number 11 Russian Conquest ($16):

Russian Conquest will do me. Team Snowden trained filly that resumes after a two run Summer prep where she ran second in the Gosford Guineas before a down the track effort in the Magic Millions where it well and truly confirmed that a fast run 1400m is a bridge too far. Loved the way she has trialled leading in and the stable have been waiting for a dry deck. They get it here.

Gosford Race Seven Number 4 Prime Candidate ($26):

Prime Candidate is a Bjorn Baker trained gelding that resumes and is quite dangerous with his best. He had a busy Winter/Spring prep but as the depth got deeper, the more he struggled. Been given a good break and his trial work has been quite encouraging. 1200m fresh looks ideal for him and he’s a genuine animal who does try hard, plus has a good racing style. Each way for me.
