Bookies have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on after finding Zamex last week.
Caulfield Race One Number 7 Tony Nicconi ($7.00):
Dirty I missed $11 but got a slice of $9.50. Still think $7 is overs, because I thought he’d be nearly fav. The Hayes/Dabernig team train this colt, who is on debut and has really looked the part in a couple of Flemington jump outs leading up to this prep. Hopefully gets three wide cover and launches at them late. Looks above average.
Caulfield Race Six Number 11 Sixties Groove ($6.50):
One last chance. Hearing Darren Weir talk about this horse, he’s got a very good opinion of him, but has said that he has been ridden poorly in both runs for the stable, both coming at the Valley. The key to this horse is riding him stone cold and if that eventuates, he’ll take some beating.
Caulfield Race Seven Number 12 Greyworm ($9.50):
He was heavily backed for Mick Kent when debuting a few Mondays back at Mornington and the bets were landed as he led all the way and was really impressive in doing so, despite the aid of on pace bias. Had change up speed when asked and I think he can measure up.
Caulfield Race Nine Number 6 Call Me Handsome ($7.50):
Great E/W gamble in the get out. Peter Gelagotis trains this gelding, who who had a really good opening prep in Australia, winning three races and showing good promise. Really like what I saw in a recent Cranbourne jump out and to my eye he’s ready to go.
