Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Flemington Race Two Number 12 Paternal ($31):
Paternal is the one on the up here for mine. Chris Waller trained four year old that comes through the Coongy at Caulfield where he was never a factor given the race shape and conditions, but I actually liked the way he found the line behind Gunstock. Firmer deck and up to 2500m, upside, Waller polish…hard to beat.
Flemington Race Four Number 2 Pavitra ($8.00):
Pavitra looks a filly of some promise for Team Freedman. Far from disgraced in the Flight two back behind Zougotcha before going to the Ethereal two weeks ago where she led and battled on really well behind Renaissance Woman. I reckon if they let her roll on speed and get them chasing, she’ll take running down.
Flemington Race Nine Number 10 Isotope ($14):
I think you have to take a chance with Isotope because she’ll just win if she’s ready to go. Two runs earlier in the Spring, she had excuses each time and the efforts were okay given the circumstances. Freshened up for this race and she went like a jet in a jumpout here last week. Each way all day.
Rosehill Race Six Number 10 Star Of India ($10):
I had to take a slice of $17 all in for Star Of India because it just looked a crazy early price. You look at his overseas form, gee it reads well for a race like this, which isn’t exactly deep in terms of depth. Annabel Neasham takes over, from all reports he’s settled into Australian life nicely and if he brings his best, I think he wins.
