Caulfield Race Five Number 3 Pink Perfection ($10):
Peter Moody trained mare that resumes on her home track off the back of a very sharp jump out win last Tuesday, where she showed superb speed to lead throughout under not much pressure and ran time. Drawn to ping over and lead, and at $10, she is worth a great each-way gamble. Should be a couple of points shorter.
Randwick Race Seven Number 14 Soros ($67):
Very interesting runner. He is now with Joe Pride after formerly being with Peter Moody and Kelly Schweida. Trialled on Tuesday at Hawkesbury and looked very good, as he did in the first trial. He can handle a wet track, and we know the record Pride has with tried horses and how he improves them.
Gold Coast Race Four Number 2 Punishing ($26):
Very impressive winner two back before going to the Phelan Ready where he had to go back from the wide gate and never really got a look in. The forecast is for rain, and he is bred to swim, so if the rain comes, The $26 will be cut in half. Without the rain regardless, he doesn’t deserve to be $26.
Morphettville Race One Number 6 Grumpy Guru ($15):
Loncava does look to the race at his mercy, but for a saver, definitely have something on this bloke. Forget he went around last Friday. He just couldn’t build up momentum and that is what he needs because he doesn’t have gears. Only carries 51kg and he will be strong late.
