Over The Odds 23/9/2023 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue from last Saturday when finding Rediener at $9.50.

Rosehill Race Four Number 9 Fire Lane ($31):

Fire Lane is worth a throw at the stumps. This filly was far from disgraced first up in The Rosebud behind Tiz Invincible before bumping into that filly again in the Furious where she was ridden forward and felt the pinch late. She is a short course animal so back to 1100m I like, she maps to stalk the speed and get every chance.

Caulfield Race Ten Number 10 On The Lead ($11):

On The Lead looks to be sneaky flying for Team Freedman. He resumed two weeks ago at Rosehill where he was back near last in an on speed domination so while he was never a winning threat, he did make up solid ground in a good return behind quality mare Red Card. He has run well Melbourne way previously and right down in the weights, he can take this out.

Toowoomba Race Four Number 10 Fleetwood Maca ($11):

Fleetwood Maca can bounce back. She ran three weeks ago at Eagle Farm where on face value, she was a bit on the plain side behind Kir Royale, but when you break down the race in terms of sectionals, she had no hope. Think she will be much better suited here and can certainly bounce back.

Toowoomba Race Seven Number 3 Wapiti ($18):

The set up is there to say Wapiti is ready to rock and roll. This guy has had two runs after a freshen up, catching the eye behind Spaceboy over 1200m before going to the mile two weeks ago where he pretty much went around like it was a barrier trial, getting badly held up when wanting to build momentum. Track/distance winner and with Blinkers back on, there is clear intent.
