Over The Odds 1/2/2025 – Friday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Rosehill Race Seven Number 13 Sisterhood ($16):

Sisterhood is a key threat. Ciaron Maher trains this daughter of American Pharoah that ran a few weeks back at Wyong. She got back off the speed and while she was never a winning threat, she kept finding the line in a good effort. 1350m on the bigger track, she can win.

Rosehill Coast Race Nine Number 5 Overriding ($16):

I was giving Overriding a massive chance off nominations for the Southern Cross so here, she is really hard to beat. 1600m was too far last start in the Big Dance but I thought she closed off very well in defeat. Spelled, two very strong trials under the belt, goes well fresh, 1200m is ideal, she’ll be strong late…I think she’s worthy of an each way bet.

Sandown Race One Number 1 It’s Business Time ($6.00):

I was thinking It’s Business Time would run very well in the Bellmaine but here, I think she’s the good thing on the program. Mark Walker trains this former Kiwi mare, who makes her Australian debut off the back of two very sharp jumpouts at Cranbourne. I think she is Stakes class. The rest of these are not. I think good luck beating her.

Sandown Race Four Number 11 New York Scandal ($8.00):

New York Scandal is worth a throw at the stumps for Jack Laing. She ran down the straight at Flemington last time where she was held up at times but got clear and was good late in the piece behind Dazzling Lucy. Like her up in trip on the bending track and the depth here is nowhere near as deep.
