Eduardo has been the only horse to firm in Newmarket Handicap markets
With a close to capacity field for Saturday’s Group One Newmarket Handicap punters were given value odds for basically every runner in the race although they still want better.
UPDATE: Late plunge on Newmarket Handicap
Since Newmarket Handicap markets opened final field on Wednesday there has been only one firmer in betting with all other runners either solid at their opening quotes or have drifted.
The only runner to firm in the market has been Eduardo who was luckless in the Oakleigh Plate last start.
The Sarah Zschoke trained galloper opened at $9.00 and has firmed half a point into his current quote of $8.50, becoming the outright second favourite behind Osborne Bulls with Graff closely following at $9.00.
