A mare that has been super form in two runs back from a break in Sydney has opened favourite with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the Muswellbrook Cup (1500m) this Friday.
Alart, trained on the track by Pat Farrell, was very good fresh when third to Upscale before not having much luck behind Daysee Doom. This looks a nice drop in depth and despite being asked to carry 59kg, she is the clear top pick in betting at $2.80.
Tough customer Binalong Road, who is first up here off a couple of sharp trials, is next best at $5 followed closely by Dylan’s Rojo ar $6.50. If there is one to watch at value, it could well be Country Cups specialists Jeremy Sylvester and Robert Thompson who combine with $18 chance Aomen.
Market and moves thanks to Sportsbet.com.au
