It is somewhat appropriate that two mares are fighting out favouritism at TAB for the All Star Mile in the same week we celebrate International Womens Day.
Arcadia Queen has opened $3.50 favourite after today’s barrier draw where she has come up with barrier five. Her Kiwi counterpart, Probabeel, has drawn gate 10 and is considered a $4 shot at TAB for Saturday’s feature at Moonee Valley.
Arcadia Queen opened an equal $6 chance with Russian Camelot when markets were first released on January 11 while Probabeel was $11 at that stage.
Russian Camelot is the first of the ‘boys’ chances and is on the third line of betting at $8 with Behemoth and Mugatoo ($9 respectively) the only other runners in single figures.
