Marli Magic has clearly been the best backed runner to take out the opening race at Flemington this Saturday, the Curragh Racecourse Trophy (1600m).
The John Sadler trained mare has been in ripping form this time, including last start at Caulfield when a game third to Written. With the nice weight pull in her favour, it is no surprise to see her backed into $4.80 from $8.
Favourite for the race is All Cerise, who has also been supported. She opened $3.30 and now sits at $3, while the horse that won that Caulfield race mentioned above, Written, has been $5-$4.80-$5.50.
