The John O’Shea trained sprinter was second favourite for The Everest but was scratched on race morning and instead runs here. A win would all but secure a $6 Million bonus and he’s the one wanted in early betting, sitting at $2.60, in from $2.70.
Mazu, a massive third in The Everest, is on the second line of betting at $4, clear of Everest runner up Private Eye at $5.50. Specked at a big price is Sydney Stakes winner Rocketing By, into $34 from $61.
