A runner who opened at big odds this morning has been crunched in betting across the board in lead up to the $2.5m feature race on Magic Millions Race Day.
The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Bondi opened at $21 in markets this morning before a lunch time plunge on multiple bookmakers saw the son of Snitzel crunched in markets to his current price of $10 where he now remains solid.
Bondi is yet to win in his two career starts and despite being beaten by Jonker who has been very easy in betting by a large margin in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic he has been the best backed runner hours out from the race.
The Tony McEvoy trained Sunlight heads the market at $3.80 closely followed by Ef Troop at $4.40 and outside of the two favourites Bondi is the horse punters are willing to back with confidence.
