In-form stayer Torrens well backed at odds in The Beauford
A last start Stakes winner has been an early firmer in the Sportsbet.com.au market for the Beauford (2300m) this Saturday at Newcastle.
Torrens surprised most when a dominant winner of the Tatts Cup at Randwick last time. The market might have got him wrong early, opening at $9. He’s now into $7.
King’s Charisma, fifth in the Hotham, is at $3.90 and is favourite, slightly out from $3.70. Shared Ambition, the class runner of the field is on the second line of betting at $4.20.
