I Am Immortal remains the short priced favourite although on the ease
The Boys edition of the Blue Diamond Prelude doesn’t appear to be overly strong in terms of depth but punters have already singled out one at good odds to win.
Brazen Brando was a real eye catcher in the Preview behind I Am Immortal, really warming to the task late in restricted room. Up to 1100m and drawn to get clear looks an ideal recipe and punters agree, snapping up the $11, with the colt now into $8.50.
That has forced I Am Immortal to ease in betting early, out to $2.70 from $2.50, but is rock solid all the same. The horse I thought was value is Aussie, who was $11+ in all in betting this week. Opened $7.50 final field and currently sits at $8.
