The Spring stars were out and running on Friday morning at Flemington and all eyes were on the younger sister of Black Caviar. Find out who down below:
BLACK BOOK: Black Book these runners HERE so you don’t miss their next run!
Flemington- Friday, August 14, Weather Fine, Track Good 4.
Heat Seven- Entirely Platinum (4th):
Classy gelding that hasn’t raced since the Mornington Cup but he looks on target for a strong Spring prep based on this jump out. He sat back in the run before sticking to the inside and making up ground under no pressure from Dunn to run a closing fourth in a real eye catching effort.
Heat Eight- Girl Guide (2nd):
Group l performed mare who will kick off her Spring prep shortly and she looks set to win a couple of handy races. She jumped well here and sat off the speed before getting a split one off on the turn and she went to the line alongside a few other runners under a big grip from Williams in what was an impressive jump out.
Heat Twelve- Sistonic (1st):
Black Caviar’s little sister…and gee she is creating an impression on me in the way she has come back this time in. She looked great last Friday, but she just looked even better here. She sat outside the leader throughout before again gliding to the front on the turn and going through the line in just awesome fashion. With normal luck, she will be winning first up wherever she races.
Heat Fifteen- Hazard (2nd):
Classy Godolphin mare for Team Freedman who has residual fitness from a Brisbane Winter prep, and she looks on target to perform well this Spring. She sat wide on speed for the entire trip, but coasted around the turn and cruised up to win, but was narrowly beaten, but was under a really good hold.
