Caulfield- Tuesday, September 8, Weather Fine, Track Good 4.
Heat Two- Weinholt (2nd):
Quality galloper for Peter Moody who hasn’t raced since the Autumn. Been given a good spell, and he looks on target after this solid jump out performance, where he sat just off the speed before peeling out and going through the motions under a good hold from the rider.
Heat Three- Triple Gold (1st):
Another Peter Moody type who finished a solid sixth in the SA Derby behind star mare Delicacy. His best form will be over the longer trips, but gee he looked sharp in this jump out win, where he led all the way and wasn’t pushed all that hard in doing it. Keep an eye on him for later on in the Spring.
