Caulfield- Tuesday May 5, Weather Fine, Track Good4.
Heat Two- Maysam (1st):
Unraced filly for Mick Price that looked pretty sharp in this jump out win. She sat on speed all the way before taking full control 200m out and won well under little pressure.
Heat Five- Not A Llama (1st):
Five year old mare for Brendan McCarthy that hasn’t raced since November. Looks on track for a good prep judging on the way she trialled here, leading all the way and running good time in comparison to other heats. She does have an excellent first up record, so have something on her whenever she resumes.
Heat Seven- Petrov (2nd):
Unraced four year old for Peter Clarke that showed a bit in this particular jump out, settling off the speed before being niggled and responding well near the inside to run a close up second. It’ll be interesting to see where and when he debuts.
